New Emergency Department with 64-slice CT scanner and digital diagnostic radiology in the department. 40 hours of physician coverage with 10 hours of PA coverage. Department hosts ED residents, interns and medical students. The group is currently comprised of six physicians with three mid-level providers. The emergency department sees approximately 36,000 patients per year and is currently pursuing Level III trauma accreditation. Physician should expect 14, 12 hour shifts per month. The acute care facility provides the newest technology for diagnostic, surgical, obstetrical and emergency services, while the non-acute facility offers inpatient mental health, drug and alcohol rehab, physical rehab, transitional care, newly renovated (summer 2009) outpatient surgery and a pain management center.
