ID: 4596 Location: MINNESOTA Work an average of 10 shifts a month! Group of 5 physicians is looking for another physician to join their ranks in the emergency department. They have hired two full time docs in the past five years, but seen none, other than part timers, leave. FP/IM boarded with EM experience is fine. Considered a level IV trauma center seeing an annual volume of 10K patients; this is a small critical access hospital with the level of trauma seen pretty low. Shifts are 12 hours long and docs are asked to work between 9 and 11 a month. There was a major ED renovation about three years ago; they have an ultrasound '2 doors down' and are using EPIC electronic medical records. Turnaround time for CT and lab is fast. Physicians are employees with compensation of $105/hr for FP/IM boarded; $125/hr for EM boarded. Fully paid benefits, CME allowance, disability coverage, 401K and relocation assistance provided.
