The opportunity:
- Practice includes two sites
- Sites are located within a half hour of one another
- Sacred Heart is a 13 bed ED with annual Census 25,000 per year
- St. Joseph annual census is 15,000 and a new state-of-the-art ED opening in August 2010

Sacred Heart Hospital has been meeting western Wisconsin's healthcare needs since 1889. It is affiliated with the Hospital Sisters Health System based in Springfield, IL.
Sacred Heart Hospital has 344 beds, and is the only emergency department between Minneapolis and Madison with physicians who are all board certified/board eligible in emergency medicine. The practice serves 25,000 patients per year, has tertiary neuroscience capabilities, and a Level III Trauma Center. Providers within the group are actively involved with medical direction of the Eau Claire Fire Department and EMS education.
Sacred Heart Hospital's newest major expansion began in 2002 when ground was broken for construction of the $35 million Center for Advanced Medicine and Surgery, and later the expansion of the Emergency Medical and Trauma Center. |

Eau Claire offers golfers a wide selection of eight golf courses for all skill levels, from a nine-hole executive course to 18-hole private country club.
All year round biking, hiking, jogging, and inline skating can be enjoyed on the Chippewa River Recreation Trail. In the city limits there is 2.3 miles of trail that connects with 20 miles of the Chippewa River Trail that follows the picturesque Chippewa River.
The Fairfax Park Municipal Pool is a fun place outdoors for all ages with a water slide and diving boards, along with an Olympic-size pool.
For winter sport enthusiasts there are groomed cross-country skiing trails right in the city limits with an assortment of county trails available as well. Snowmobiles can travel over 150 miles on the Eau Claire County Trail. |
