Greater Nashua Emergency Physicians, PC,
a private democratic group in southern New Hampshire,
is seeking an Emergency Physician for the St. Joseph Hospital ED
and an Urgent Care Physician for the Milford Medical Center
|
- The group is stable and has held the contract with St. Joseph Healthcare System for 12+ years
- Flexible scheduling, 8-hour and 9-hour shifts with 12 hours/day of PA double coverage
- Equitable scheduling from day one
- Full partnership after one year
- Well established compensation model based on personal productivity

- There are two Emergency Departments:
- St. Joseph Hospital: 13 beds plus 6 non-acute care beds; 24k annual visits
- Milford Medical Center: Free-standing ED with 7 beds; 9k annual visits; 16 hours/day
- ED ultrasound and digital radiography
- Full spectrum of specialist back-up including 24/7 hospitalist coverage
- Required: BE/BC Emergency Medicine; EM residency trained preferred
- Great area of New England - 1 hour to Boston, mountains and coast

| St. Joseph Healthcare is a comprehensive healthcare system that serves the Greater Nashua area, southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts. The main campus, which is part of St. Joseph Healthcare, is licensed for 208 beds and includes a Level 2 Trauma Center.
The hospital has recently completed a $25 million expansion to include new outpatient facilities, of which an Emergency Express area is included. The hospital offers PET, CT, MRI, and a modern cardiac catheterization lab with angioplasty, in addition to the usual ancillary services. |

In addition to the hospital, St. Joseph Healthcare system also includes a satellite emergency center in Milford, five family medical centers, a large network of primary care and specialty physician practices. The Academic Center, which houses the St. Joseph School of Nursing, St. Joseph School of Practical Nursing and St. Joseph School of Health Occupations, is also part of the healthcare system. |
