  • BayFront Medical Center has 502 beds, and its 2,500 team members and 600 physicians offer care in all medical specialties. The Bayfront Health System is comprised of the following:  •  BayFront Medical Center  •  Six Convenient Care Clinics offering minor emergency care  •  A family health center offering primary and obstetrical care  •  Two outpatient rehabilitation facilities  •  Family practice and OB/GYN residency programs  •  Sports medicine fellowship  •  Wound care and hyperbaric center.

  • We also have openings in the Emergency Department at St. Anthony's Hospital, part of the BayCare Health System in St. Petersburg. St. Anthony's is a 395 bed insititution with 478 physicians and 1,460 emplyees. The ED annual census is currently 34,000. The Hospital was recently awarded the Joint Commission's Primary Stroke Center Certification, the Beacon Award for Critical Care Excellence and earned the Total Benchmark Solution Top 100 Quality Award in 2005

  • With a population of 249,000, St. Petersburg is the fourth largest city in the state of Florida. It is the second largest city in the Tampa Bay Area, which is composed of roughly 4 million residents in the core, making it the second largest Metropolitan Statistical Area in the State.   • St. Petersburg's stunning city-wide renaissance has caught the attention of America. The downtown, located on one of our nation's most beautiful waterfront parks, is fast-becoming one of the most attractive, livable and viable downtowns in the country.
